email signatures and email stationery
Your
clients are bombarded by thousands of marketing messages every
day, so it's important that they recognise and remember your
company. Brand marketing, hitting your audience with the same
visual identity every time you communicate with them, will get
you remembered., you will be top of mind and always on their
shopping list. Email is now the most common form of business
communication, so you must present your branding, along with
maybe some advertising, on every email. Email stationery and
email signatures are the vehicles that can carry your branding and
deliver advertising messages to your target audience. This is one of the most effective
ways of presenting your brand image and is probably the least expensive, so don't delay, you're missing out
on the best low cost way to advertise your brand and your products or services. What can be included?
When Microsoft released Office 2007 they limited the HTML code set that Outlook would recognise, this was to help combat unwanted content in spam emails. So gone are animated text and animated images, but you can still have an email signature or email stationery that is attractive and promotes your business in whatever way you choose.
There is some content that must be included on your email, see the regulations page for details, and this of course will be incorporated into your email signature or email stationery.
So Outlook stationery and signatures are pretty essential for any business these days, but there is much, much more that you can use Outlook for.....read on.
Outlook signatures
Outlook signatures are appended to the bottom of an email message and will normally contain personal details such as name, job title, phone, email and other contact details. There might be some company information such as a logo, strap line, accreditations, advertising and so on. There will be a section containing regulatory information and another containing a disclaimer.Outlook stationery
Outlook stationery is very similar to signatures, but in this case your stationery fills the entire page and your message is typed into the stationery. Think of stationery as a letterhead, logo and maybe company details at the top of the page, then your message, then a footer area, which contains the same details as in a signature.Outlook templates
Outlook templates are great for preformatted forms into which you type variable data, such as the quotations for supply of goods and services that most businesses send their clients. Think of them just like all the printed forms that you use to communicated formatted information to someone else, except that you only ever buy your Outlook template once.Templates can be used in conjunction with signatures to maintain you email branded presentation.
So what else can I use Outlook for?
Take a look in your stationery cupboard, just about anything you have a piece of paper for can be set up as Outlook stationery or an Outlook template, and staff and customers can email them to you instead of using post or fax, so you'll quickly recover the cost of having templates set up and of course you never have to pay for printing again. You can even take advantage of this within your office environment. Here are some suggestions to start you thinking:
- Expense forms
- Time sheets
- Quotations
- Order forms
- Booking forms
- Engineers job sheets
- Availability mailers
- News mailers
Is this going to be expensive?
No of course not. Prices for signatures start from as little as £75, the most expensive we ever produced was £250 and stationery is pretty much the same. If you can supply the graphics, such as your logo, in the form of jpg or other file then £150 is the ball park and prices are always agreed before any work is started. If you want us to produce additional email signatures or email stationery for all your staff, using the same template, we charge just £5 for each, less if there are a large number. Detailed installation instructions are provided on our website for installing to Windows XP and Windows Vista.
What do I do next?

Once the design is finalised we will provide a final draft together with an invoice.
